hi folks are very excited about sharing
this video with you it's one of my
favorite Spanish dishes made vegan
Spanish potato omelette
peel and wash those potatoes cut them
into 1 centimeter cubes
bring a large pan of water to the boil
and add half a teaspoon of salt
traditionally your potatoes are fried
but I'm going to keep it low fat by
boiling them boil potatoes until just
cooked make sure not to overcook them as
you don't want me to fall apart add one
cup of gram flour to a large bowl use
the same cup for the water filter the
level of the gram flour makes the water
and flour until all the lumps are gone
add a teaspoon of salt then add your
quarter teaspoon of black salt
add your boiled potatoes to the mix

make sure you incorporate them but don't
make it too hard as you don't want to
break them
add two tablespoons of oil to a frying
pan here I've used olive oil
folks the pan to make sure it's all
covered with a layer of oil this mixture
is the right amount for a 24 centimeter
per hand when the oil is very hot add
the mixture to the pan
this will prevent sticking

flatten the top man loosen the sides
once done trouble with a lid and lower
the temperature to medium-low after
about eight minutes loosen the sides and
make sure you can get the spatula
underneath

make sure the omelets loose and use a
wet plate to turn it over
slide the omelet back into the pan and
cook for a further eight to ten minutes
on medium low temperature turn leaders
this omelet look smell and taste amazing
it's also made of nutritious gram flour
which is a really good source of fiber
magnesium folate protein and many more
things I can't wait so I'm going to have
a slice right now

A vegan version of a classic Spanish dish. Ingredients: 800g of potatoes 1 cup of gram flour (chickpea flour) 1 cup of water 1 1/2 tsps of salt 1/4 tsp black salt (Kala namak) 2 tbs of olive oil Method: -Wash and peel potatoes -Cut potatoes into 1cm cubes -Bring a large pan of water to the boil with 1/2 tsp of salt. -Cook potatoes until just tender. -Once potatoes are cooked, drain and set aside. -In a large bowl, mix 1 cup of gram flour and 1 cup of water with 1 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp of black salt. -Add potatoes to the mixture. -Heat oil until hot in a 24cm non stick frying pan. -pour in mixture, neaten sides and flatten top. -Reduce heat to medium/low and cover with a lid. -Cook for 8-10 minutes. -With a silicone spatula release the omelette from the pan. -Using a wet plate, turn the pan upside down and slide the omelette back into the pan. -Cook for a further 8-10 minutes. For best results leave to cool slightly before cutting and serving. Enjoy!!!
